NILRC Photo Contest 

Since Fall 2022, The Website and Communications Committee hosts photo contests to highlight the collections and people of NILRC. The aim is to foster the camaraderie of membership through active participation in NILRC Listservs and through affiliated online communities.

The Spring 2026 contest theme is… BOOK NOOK OR COZY CORNER. 

Highlight the small spaces where people can relax with a good book or BYO media. Submissions can be one image or one collage of several images from one space. If you are renovating or looking for ideas to freshen up your cozy spaces, check back to see others’ photos during the voting stage..

Members submit contact information and photo from February 17 through March 20.

• The current photo contest submission period is CLOSED.

• Members vote on their favorite photos April 6 through April 17.

• The current photo contest voting period is CLOSED.

• The winner(s) will be announced in May.

Submission requires users to log in to the form to upload a photo for security purposes. If you would like to submit via alternate method, please contact webmaster@nilrc.org.

The first-place winner of the photo contest will be awarded the coveted NILRC Rock. The NILRC rock serves as a traveling trophy. This means that the NILRC rock will journey to the institution that triumphs in the photo contest for the current semester.
